Mackintosh Rose Partnership - quality assurance for the people sector
  Monitoring, evaluation and feedback

Services being offered need to be regularly monitored and evaluated, and feedback obtained from all those who have an interest in them (funding bodies, service users, staff/volunteers, referral agencies etc). A great deal of information will be gathered through normal day-to-day information recording, but there will be times when additional data is needed.

We can:

  • help organisations to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that regularly provide important information about how well services are being delivered and received
  • carry out one-off research and surveys to obtain independent information and feedback from service users and other interested parties
  • help to bring together information for self-assessment reports that allows considered judgements to be reached about the relative strengths and weaknesses of the organisation and how it goes about its business
  • evaluate the effectiveness of changes made to policies procedures and management practice as part of development planning

There are times when objectivity is vital: if needed we can provide confidential independent review.

Examples:

Carried out a number of structured interviews with Modern Apprentices and their NVQ Assessors to obtain independent feedback about an in-company Modern Apprenticeship programme.

Undertook a comprehensive survey by questionnaire for Downend Day Centre of some 600 service users, staff, volunteers and referral agencies, to obtain feedback on services and facilities.
